I just wanted to let everyone know that the full video is on Youtube. Just do a search for U2 and it's the first video that shows up in the search results.
 
It's not working fo rme as well.

It stops at 20% and won't budge ad all internet activity stops so I know it is not downloading anymore.

The support says they are working on it and needed to call me. It says to wait before it totally downloads and it could take up the 12 mins. Well I left it on all day and NADA.

Also if you cancel and try to open the program again it will stay at 0% unless you uninstall the program and Delete the Folders for the player in the Program File Folder and the Application Data folder.

Still no luck though stuck at 20%
 
^ exactly what's happening to me, word for word. So at least we know the problem is not just ours alone, and hopefully once they work out the bugs it will work for all of us.
 
Yep I just got that too. :hyper: so... I tried for the maybe 18th time to download it (from a different internet connection than before so it's not that)

still no go :|

Well, I jst got a responce from them that was pretty stupid and that was to uninstall the player and reinstall. DUH! I did that 10 times.

SO I sent them back a responce with a bit more of an annoyed customer tone to it.

Who the heck would not try to uninstall and reinstall it first before contacting them. Just plain STUPID.

After many sleepless nights and thousands :shifty: :wink: of attempts to get REDwire downloaded... it has FINALLY worked for me!

For those of you having the same issues I had try it again. I just now gave it another try and finally it installed.


(The Stand By Me special was cool :up: )
 
I think they're still trying to get the kinks out. I read yesterday that if you download the player now it puts the RED Wire Folder with the songs and videos into your "Documents" folder instead of the hidden folder. That will make it much easier for the masses i.e. less tech saavy people to import into Itunes.

I uninstalled and then downloaded the player again and it did do just that.
