which song should i pick? (part 4/4)

i have a literary heritage class and we have to do a poetry presentation of a poet, and choose 3-4 of their works. so, i was planning on doing U2. i mean, songs are just poems put to music, right?

so, i was going to pick a song from each era, so i could fairly represent all of their work. (can you believe i'd use anything from atyclb? hehe)

anyway, the last song i want to choose is from their newer stuff, from the albums pop and all that you can't leave behind. so, just pick whatever song you think i should use. unfortunately, you can only pick one from each period. thanks for all your help!

I say Gone would be a great choice, lyrically speaking. I think it's the strongest song up in that list. Staring at the Sun would be the second best, I think, followed by all the others.

i don't even think my teacher knows who U2 is...

btw, i didn't choose kite because i was only nominating three songs per album (listing every single song would be a bit much imo) and i dunno...i just picked the three songs i liked best from atyclb and that were short and pick apartable.
