Kind of off the topic, but did Adam quit smoking? The last time I saw Adam with a smoke was on the Elevation tour. During "Walk On".

I read an interview during a break in the Elevation tour, in which Adam said his next addiction to quit was smoking. Possibly caffeine too.

What is the saying, for however many years you, for example, drink alcohol or smoke, it takes "x" amount of years for your body to adjust after quitting that substance.

He quit drinking after the ZooTV tour, which would have been around 1994, so 2004 would have been about 10 years of sobriety depending on whether he quit cold turkey, or slowly over the 10 years.

If he quit smoking in 2001, 3 years would have improved his general wellbeing as well.

Whatever it was, I'm glad for it.

Paul McG says in U2 by U2 that he and Adam have quit smoking while the other three have not.

I think that his not having nicotine fits on stage anymore is making him better able to get involved with the show. That's what I think, anyway.
