No kidding! Some of my favorite discussions about any band I like are the "What were they thinking?!?" ones. And if a band's been around a while there is always soooo much fodder.

I just always wonder about those that can't find humour in the antics of their favorite band.

I've observed plenty here, one of those things being that sadly a sense of humour seems to be missing in quite a few U2 fans (including yourself). If you don't like a thread, don't post in it and it will go away (I would think that since you are so observant, you would have figured that out by now...you must be slipping dear). I also liked the song when it was called "In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. But I think "Sometimes..." is an improvement on "Living Years" as that one was a bit too sappy.
