Have you ever changed your name and did U2 have anything to do with you changing it?

My friend changed his name and i think it had something to do with some music band like nine inch nails and a computer game Megatron & Bison

But we all just call him by his old name........

Now thats a VERY VERY odd name change!

yeah i change it in school, never officially but yeah i love changing it. It's cause my real name is Carlos Fernandez and here in Honduras its awfully common and i hate having the same name as everybody else. there are so many carlos's here once there was four of us in the same room.so i changed it to Sid Cuevas which is less common.

cheers,
Sid Cuevas

I gave myself an official, legal middle name because my parents didn't give me one, but U2 had nothing to do with it.

I'm actually thinking lately of dropping my last name and just using my middle name as a last name.

I'm a cashier, and two customers have just come right out and said "You know, you can change your name" I have equally difficult first and last names... Phuzzie, I think your name is pretty, did you officially change your name(or is it an unofficial change?) What did your parents think?

No, but I'd like a nick-name that would stick.

There was this guy in my high school that was going to have his name legally changed for his eighteen birthday...so everybody started calling him by that new name and then he changed his mind and went back to his old name and everybody was really confused!
