Are U2 playing the Tsunami benefit concert?

It was said they would on much more music, but with the postponed tours, I'm not sure...?

When you have a family member with an illness serious enough to have the entire band postpone the tour (which means forgoing huge profits and probably paying some no-show and reservation fines), I doubt they will even bother playing the Tsunami benefit concert.

Well, the other thing that always baffled me about this is that U2 is/was supposed to be confirmed for the NRJ awards in France for that same day, so how they were ever in the running was always a bit puzzling...

hmmm, strange! And I agree Jick, just wondering if they were because they said so on MMM after we already knew he tour was post poned, so i was confused!
