Please vote for your TWO favorites.

I just CAN'T believe it...I can't. The three songs to move on from Magic at 7 votes a piece are: Radio Nowhere, Devil's Arcade and Girls in Their Summer Clothes. This is clearly not a Bruce Springsteen message board lol.

Completed Tier 2:
Radio Nowhere
Girls in Their Summer Clothes
Devil's Arcade
Tunnel of Love
Brilliant Disguise
Valentine's Day Nebraska
Atlantic City
Johnny 99
Reason to Believe The Ties that Bind
Sherry Darling
Two Hearts
Independence Day
The River
Cadillac Ranch
Lost in the Flood
For You
Spirit in the Night
It's Hard to Be A Saint in the City

The completed tier 1:
Lonesome Day
You're Missing
The Rising
My City of RuinsBorn in the U.S.A.
Downbound Train
I'm on Fire
Dancing in the Dark Badlands
Candy's Room
Promised Land
Darkness on the Edge of Town
Thunder Road
Backstreets
Born to Run
She's the One
Jungleland
4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
Incident on 57th Street
Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
New York City Serenade

And the not quite finished Tier 3 (Still have to get through Tracks and b-sides):
Oh Mary Don't You Weep
American Land Devils and Dust
Long Time Comin'Youngstown
The Ghost of Tom Joad
If I Should Fall Behind
Better Days
Living Proof Human Touch
Soul Driver

And here we are, the final album. This ought to be a good one.

Life Itself
The Last Carnival
My Lucky Day

Life Itself is probably my favorite new song of this year, honestly, but I am seeing that this is an unpopular opinion.

ETA: I am a damn cheater, I will manually remove the vote for My Lucky Day

Fuck, I forgot to go back and vote for Magic. It probably would've changed the outcome.

Oh well.

WOAD is a much maligned album. The best two songs are rather obvious as far as I'm concerned.

Outlaw Pete
The Wrestler

Why, what would a Bruce Springsteen board have picked for the top three songs of Magic, I wonder?

I'll have to think about this album -- I don't know it too well. Listened to it today, but nothing really grabbed me that much.

HAHA I just realized I broke my own rule and voted for three songs. Whoops, will fix that in the end.

You and lemonmelon are both telling me that you forgot to vote :tsk:. This WOULD have made a difference.

I've come away with two things from the Bruce Springsteen message board, Backstreets. Girls in Their Summer Clothes sucks, and don't fucking request Bobby Jean.

Hmmm. Well, Long Walk Home is one of my favorites (though I didn't vote for it). Gypsy Biker for me is middle of the pack for that album.

I love Girls In Their Summer Clothes and Bobby Jean.

Ah well, music is so subjective.

I actually enjoy this album for the most part, it was a pleasant little surprise at the start of the year when there weren't any other albums comin out.

Tomorrow Never Knows
Last Carnival

I'm also fond of: Outlaw, My Lucky Day, What Love Can Do, Life Itself and Surprise Surprise. I've never thought of The Wrestler as part of the album so, yeah.

The Wrestler and Outlaw Pete are the final regular album tracks to go through. Tomorrow, I'm going to start up the survivor for Tracks, followed by a Misc. (I think that's what I decided to do) round, and then we will begin the semi finals.
