wow, it might be time to leave this forum

then again, where to go?

Salome,

Don't forget Neon Lights (or Neon Licht as the title is originally in German). Bono sang snippets of this song at the end of Pride during the Popmart tour.

Oh, and The Model is a very famous song too.

Yep, Kraftwerk are/were one of the founders of current day electronica music. So you can blame them for all the Euro-pop shit that's on the radio today. On the other hand, they're also responsible for Underworld, Nine Inch Nails and Leftfield. So there is a trade-off for all this.

C ya!

Kraftwerk are great and are one of the founding bands of the genre of electronica- I guess they came to prominence in the late 70s with their ambient style of electronic synths etc- very nice music indeed, I am pretty sure that they are german and the band had a very distinctive 'look' aswell, a very robotic, clean cut with a hint of socialism kind of undertone- if that makes any sense, anyway I declare that one can not claim to be a fan of electronic music without adhering to the greatness that is Kraftwerk, all of the songs previously mentioned I agree with, aswell as the classic- 'Europe Endless' and a kind of new Kraftwerk re-mix aswell is very good- I think it was done in 2000, anyway see if you can download a copy of 'Expo 2000, remix by Orbital' I think that this is a great re-mix of a new Kraftwerk song done by a great current electronic act- kinda like old meets new:)
