I found my hard drive!

Here are the files, they are .png because I altered them in FireWorks, but .png is lossless. I uploaded them, rather than e-mailing, because one is almost 2MB.

The "Africa" file has two extra lines of color at the top and bottom - I added these because typically an older deskjet printer will be lazy with the color on the first and last lines printed, so if it takes a line or so of ink for the printer to get it right, it won't affect the actual Africa part. The second file contains all of the text I used on my shirt. I printed it out together and cut it apart. Cut the blocks with rounded corners so your shirt doesn't peel. I left a little bit of black background rather than cutting out every letter, and you can't really tell on the shirt.

Democrat, you're right.. so many awesome shirts... *sigh* wish I was a fan earlier, then I could've gotten some!

All of mine posted are in totes in my attic now. I don't wear anything from more than the last 2 tours. (That's why I haven't posted anything lately) I want to retire the elevation shirts soon.

 :shifty: Um, Chris??? I'll, uh, "store" those shirts for you if they're in your way. :shifty:

That is one very impressive collection, by the way! :D

The quality's crap because these were taken with a camera phone, but this is what I've got:

The back of this one lists the NY shows, but the phone's charge was dying & it turned out so dark, you couldn't even see the lettering. :banghead:

And then here are the rest...
Like I said earlier, the camera's charge was dying, so this first shot is pretty bad. :slant:

All my shirts except this one were bought at shows I attended. This one came from eBay & the back lists the shows from the 1st US leg. :)

My One/Smell the Flowers shirt is my baby... it's never been worn and I bought it new. It looks a little rough right now because it's been folded & stored away for a while, but as soon as I find a frame big enough for it, I'm going to steam the wrinkles out & display it for my U2 room. :hyper:

Liv, my mother says it won't work if you iron the print on a tshirt... she says the paper is just with chalk, and that goes off in one wash...

Well maybe someday...(My wife would love it if I got rid of them), but for now, they are my babies... :)

Vintage Rock T-Shirts are hot, so I would def. sell them all on eBay. Take a look at my website for all the ones I have. I had a friend offer me $50 for my Journey Jersey. (I knew that was a lowball offer ;) )

Wow... I wish I would have kept all my old shirts I got at shows in the late 70's & 80's. Dang.

Great collections everyone!

I know this wasn't for me, but still I think I can help cos...

GG, your mum apparently thinks of a different kind of paper than the one Lies is talking about - I think I saw you tried to translate the name of the paper into Dutch(?) in one of your posts, but you got something a bit wrong (cos it's the same translation in Danish!)...

I know the kind of paper your mum is thinking of and it's deffinately NOT the paper you use to make a tshirt (shes thinking of the kind of paper from your Dutch translation I think)!! You go into a hobby store or a computer store and ask them for "the kind of paper for your printer that you can use to iron on shirts" and they will know for sure what you are talking about!!

I made a shirt like this myself once (actually a ZooTV shirt :shifty:, but its a long time ago and I don't have it anymore) and my mum didn't know what I was talking about until she saw the special paper and read the instruction on the package...

Good luck GG - don't forget to post a pic of the final result here!

?

You have to get transfer paper for dark fabric. It pretty much the same as cheaper printed shirts you buy in stores, it's just that you're printing it with your own printer. I've made two identical ONE shirts this way and both my sis and I have been wearing them, washing them, and drying them for months. I also have a friend who only wears her own U2 shirts and hers have lasted for years. If you get the right transfer paper, it will work fine. I've even used the same model of printer you mentioned.

GG, my friend speaks Dutch as her first language, I will ask her for how she would say fabric transfer paper.

Hey, to anybody who has ordered off U2.com - What are the womens sizes like? I heard they run small.
I got the Music Rising top in small, and that fits fine, but I think those are unisex sizes.

hehehe.. not completely off topic..but not one of my U2 Shirts..

but somebody by the name of Thom Yorke was wearing one on Thursday nite in Toronto!!! Wow!! Didn't think RH thought much of U2 but I guess I was WRONG!
