Aw, that's adorable! :cute: My niece's boys are 11 and 9 now. Sarah spent quite a while Christmas evening attempting to play a game with the younger one. She was kind of pissed off that he kept changing the rules and drew out a game that should have been 15 minutes long to about two hours. She doesn't like children, they freak her out. She was a good sport about it, though.

Ouch for falling! :yikes : Hope you didn't hurt yourself! I fall *all the damn time* in winter, it's awful. And I should be used to it, with our winters. I feel like an uncoordinated klutz.

By Wednesday, I'll be used to doing nothing again. :wink :

Glad you had fun with Kat! Have you seen Craig? Not sure if he had to travel to see his family, or if he just went for the day.

 @ Sarah and the game. Poor girl.

Hurt my butt and my wrists a little bit. My back hurts now. Surprise. I was like Bambi on Ice ( or more like Jem on Ice. :shifty::lol: )

:grumpy: Well the offer will still be open if you want to take me up.

Saw Craig yesterday on my way home from my aunts. :)

That same 9 yr old, we were all in the kitchen and there were a dozen different conversations going on, and all of a sudden I heard him saying something about "teenage cream." I looked at my niece and was all "omg, that sounds like a porn title, I think you need to restrict his internet access." Turns out, as Sarah was telling me later, he was talking about having the ability to change any song title to something food related, and this was a song by Katy Perry, or something? I don't even know.

Kids. :crack:

:ohmy::crack::lol:

Yeah "Teenage Dream" it is called.

She is a cutie. She took some bells off my aunts Christmas tree too and was jumping around ringing them. She comes over to me and gives the bells to me so I'm sat ringing these bells, then gave her one back and we rang the bells together and sang "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" together. :cute::heart: Makes me want a baby, she is so adorable. :shifty::lol:

Aww that's adorable :cute:

That sounds so cute Jem. :cute:

I loathe shoveling. :crack:

I saw the massive snow storm you guys got on the news. It looks awful :crack: Try not to hurt your back while shoveling

:shifty: I only eat the dark choc ones and give the rest away. Shame they're only available sept-december 5 here. Glad you like them! :D

LOVE the bouncy Adam! :cute:

Jem, that is just so adorable! :cute: My family from Seattle is coming up for New Years, and the two youngest are both under 6 years old, so there will be many moments of cuteness and insanity while they're here, I'm sure! :D

We're FINALLY back at my parents house now. :crack:  We landed at the airport at 11:30 last night, but since the ferries to where my parents live stop running at about 10pm, we had to stay the night at a hotel. The bed was really comfy though, which was nice. So we had to take the train and a bus out to the ferry this morning, and now I'm curled up in front of the fire.

I'm going to start uploading and editing the rest of my pictures this afternoon, so I'll probably have them on FB and elsewhere sometime this evening for you all to see. :)

Thanks, Amy! I've gone through 245 photos already, and holy crap do I ever want to upload most of them to FB! I have 164 more to go through, so I may have to make 2 albums of photos! I don't know how many FB allows you to put in one album...

ETA - okay, so maybe I'm only uploading around 100 or so. Have to wait for my mom's pictures, because she has a few that I want. But most of my pictures are now finished editing, which is nice. Didn't take as long as I had anticipated, since most of the pictures were fine to begin with - there were just a few that needed cropping or whatever. :)

Were they nice warm and cuddly?

Very

Can't wait to see your pics!! :hyper:

Glad you're all settled safe and sound now

I've figured out what pictures I'm going to upload, but we'll probably be having dinner soon. I don't want to start the process on FB and then have to stop in the middle of it all, but they will be up sometime tonight, if not tomorrow morning. :)

It's nice (although cold!) to be back at my parents' house. :)

hey! yep, totally!
so how many gigs did you attend to? i've lost count and I'm kind of behind on the news in here... so please, remind me!
ah and the most important - have you spotted any spanks???

I saw five shows here this month... I saw five in Europe last year but I'm guessing you meant the recent ones. :)

I didn't witness any spanking myself... Apparently there was at least one spank at a show I saw, but I must have missed it. Ah well, that's what You Tube is for I guess. *L*

LOVE the bouncy Adam! :cute:

6 fucking hours to try and post (while doing other things) and finally i think i got it , it tells me i have too many smilies. I reduce them properly, repost get the "missiong security" BS and then it doesn't go through....
and when i got to repost after hours - I forgot to COPY it again because i totally got out, and returned so now my copied post was gone. :gah::gah:

:shifty:
Oh, hello! :D

shorter version> Jem & VP :hug:sss sorry you have fallen in the snow/ice.

Seriously VP I suggest you get yourself from a hardware store a long real (sturdy) wood broom handle without the broom part that also might have-- mine has a metal "screw" end to take a broom.
I can't afford to have an accident like I did almost 18 yrs ago! :yikes:
And you can't afford one either!
I'm moderately strong (my sis would say more), medium endurance, good+plus flexibilty, and very good balance BUT ever since that accident i do sometimes feel more anxious (use breaathing & self talk to keep me from getting too frozen in my movements.....especially in Brooklyn where alot more small buildings per block 30% would stay unsalted, unshoveled for 2 - 3 days!).

With my 'walking stick' it helps to slow me down when I want to rush (over potentially icy spots)/ going over the icy spots, and helps me over the 18 - 2 foot plus in plowed of the snow/icy-snow piles esp while carrying a lot of stuff (often).
Soon as I reach safe ground i just tuck it under my arm, and pick my normal spped.

Just a suggerstion.

thora excited to see your photos!

K> i see you had a hot night !

lets see if i can finally post

yay it did!

ali> i got bounced out right after reading your post about the koala not making it :(

and the QL farmers after drought , now flooded
I've been buying veggies & frutis from our Green Market for about 27 years now, so i talk weather with my farmers.
