I could totally imagine Freddie doing something like the whole Fly persona. He was a very theatrical guy. I don't think the comparison is crazy at all.

I have no doubts The Fly and MacPhisto shared Freddie as a common ancestor.

Even though there was bad blood between U2 and Queen after the Artists Against Apartheid debacle..
no doubt.

Part of why seeing Brian May and Roger Taylor taking part in 46664 made me almost cry with relief...

Freddie was a superb singer and a great showman. He is missed.

A Bono/Freddie Mercury duet would've been totally cool.
