Okay, i'm assuming that the reason for the acoustic encoures is that Larry's arm just can't take doing 21-24 songs a night. So, here's what they should do.

First Time....bono and edge walk off stage with crowd singing "love, love"

Walk on and First time might be a bit more appropriate with the Human right video...edge could continue to play piano during the HR video transitioning the songs...or they could play the video after the first time... bono could say something cheesy (although effective) "For the first time, all of God's children should feel loved..." then video...i dunno. This at least keeps the encoures from being such an emotional let down.
