I wrote this poem tonight after coming home from the Planetarium where I spent all day for Astronomy Day.


Milky Way
Dance my way
Generations of time
Gaze into the sublime

Somewhere out there
We all began here
Darkness overwhelms
This starry realm

Beauty, grace, light
Shine in the stark night
Help us find our place
In this vast space

Orange, red, blue, and white
Colors twinkle in the night
Dreamy far away place
Drifting forever in outer space
