IN THE STILL



(listen)
don't you hear?
in the silence...
in the solace..
in the pain..
a scream echos
for this
generation
to the next
a reverb shatters
the stillness
and forever
changes the pool
of tranquility

I like how you used a familiar phrase "from this generation to the next" and turned it to say something new.
