I have my first paper to do for Canadian Literature, and I was wondering if there was anyone who knows a thing or two about it.. as to give me any kind of suggestion or anything!
I have to compare two Canadian poets, either in their representation of Canada, approach to history, approach to landscape, or nature and meaning of myth.

My choice of authors include FR Scott, AJM Smith, Earle Birney, Dennis Lee, Al Purdy, Gwendolyn MacEwen (she's great, i think i want to include her!), Phyllis Webb (seriously considering her also), and of course Michael Ondaatje.

Al Purdy is great, but PK Page is beyond amazing. I can't begin to tell you how good she is. You MUST write about her! Or at least read her.
