Smile, you're reading my post
just some thoughts im having right now...

what if the world should stop tomorrow?
the sun dried up and went to sleep..
the clocks all stopped and the grass halted growing
the music no longer could be heard;
and the leaves on the trees ceased to fall?
would your heart cry?
would your fingers slide over a blade,
to see if your blood still ran?
would your mind even know
or would it talk away to your neighbours about their mail that cluttered up your box?
i wonder would we feel it?
would the seas understand that they had died
and shout in a furious rage crashing their waves over the lands;
or would they just melt away softly...

would we feel it?
would our skin peel away?
perhaps we'd just lie down and go to sleep
in a big huddle on the sand
all the people of the world
huddled on the sand...

the shadows of one race falling into another
the shadows of one race falling into another

what a beautiful ending. the first lines instantly made me think appels & oranjes. you have the most amazing imagery, Manda, your words evoke so much emotion. I wish i could come up with the stuff that you do!

what about southerners saying "eyes" when it sounds like "ass"? when a boy is talking about his "green eyes" this can be very confusing..........
