Remember that the anthem is not just a song, and that flag is just not a piece of cloth. It is you and I... It is all our loved ones, and it is those kids halfway across the world that are willing to fight and possibly die for us.
 
I sang it once in high school in the gym before a basketball game. It's such an adrenaline rush to be belting out such a beautiful, patriotic song to a big crowd. I also tend to get tears in my eyes whenever I hear it, now more than ever.

-I do too! Especially these days...

I also bought the Whitney Houston CD recording of it from The Super Bowl-that they just re-released-and I cry at that too!
