Hey guys and girls,
I have just started playing guitar and have bought a strat, a vox ac4tv tube amp, and a mxr carbon copy delay. My goal is to be able to cover Edges guitar in U2 songs and also make songs with similar sounds to the work of Edges. I would like to know which theory would most help to first learn if this is what I would like to accomplish? If you as a more experienced guitarist than I, looked back, which parts of theory have you found has helped you the most in creating your own guitar riffs and songs in a similar nature to Edges?
Many thanks for any opinions
Joel
