Could someone tell me which are the riffs that Edge plays from "there is a silence..." to "...Ultraviolet" and from "I Remember...." to "....Ultraviolet" in this tour?

I think both are the same riff...

Thanks in advance.

g --7-7/5----9-10-7---- if I remember right... or the same notes on D string.

It's not an ebow, IMO is a sort of long long sustained distortion

He plays it on a Fernandez Retrorocket so it's almost certainly using the sustainer pickup.

Sorry, it is a semitone lower (I was wrong because I play it on my guitar which is Eb tuned but the live version is in standard).

I think that the sound is quite similar to the one used for the intro of vertigo, just before bono sings "unos, dos, tres...".

I am with you on that. Pretty sure it's the Sustainer p'up on the Black and White Fernandes RetroRocket.

wow, I love this sound.:crack:
So in the video up here this is what he does at 2:35, in this order:

- switch effect on the pedalboard
- switch to sustainer pickup
- some tremolo arm

is it?
