Top-Wrapping the Strings on a Les Paul

Does Edge do this? Because I've read that the plinking sound in Zoo Station is him plucking the D string behind the bridge, but when I do that on my Les Paul, it doesn't sound remotely similar, not even close to the same pitch. So that makes me wonder if he top-wraps his LP strings.

If you mean wrapping the strings over the top of the bridge piece, he doesn't.

The picture below is of The Edge's 1975 Gibson Les Paul Custom, that he auctioned at the 2007 "Icons of Music" auction.

Hi try fretting the A note on the E string and pluck behind the bridge with your pic and you should get better results
