Does anyone know when Edge got his casino? And a list of the songs he uses it for?

Unsure exactly when he got it.

Theory is that it might have replaced the Gibson ES-330. The ES-330 was used for "One" during the ZOO tours. The Gibson ES-330 and Epiphone Casino are 99.9 % the same specs. Both are hollowbody (no sound/center block). Both have P-90 single coil pickups.

I will post some examples of Edge with both the ES-330 & and Casino.

Edge also used Gibson ES-330 during the filming of the "...Wild Horses video. (Mimed)

And he used the Gibson ES-330 during Popmart launch at K-Mart in NY in 1997 while playing "Holy Joe".

Rumour has it, that the Gibson ES-330 was destroyed in the 2002 flood in the bands storage at Hanover Quay. Rumour as yet, unconfirmed.

As for the Epiphone Casino, there are two. There is the 1962 w/Epiphone tremolo & and the 1964 w/Bigsby tremolo (this seems to be the backup to the 1962).

His was made specially right E_O?

Edge's Casino seems to be a simple 1962 vintage Epiphone Casino.

"Made specially?" No.

It isn't a custom built guitar. Dallas must have found it along the way and Edge took to using it.

Although, the two songs that it WAS being used for on the 360 tour (Breathe and NLOTH) have been dropped from the set so Edge hasn't used it live since.

There are lots of pics of Edge playing it in the Deluxe 'NLOTH' book and promo pictures. So it seems it is possible it is possible it's on other 'NLOTH' album tracks, besides "Breathe" and "NLOTH"

The thing is I have never been able to find a tobacco Finish Epiphone casino. Have you? I really had wanted to buy one but could not find one. So I ended up buying The Limited edition John Lennon one.

I see natural maple and tobacco finish Casino's all the time. Plus the occasional cherry finish.

BUT - Edge's isn't 'tobacco'. Epiphone referred to that as Royal Tan and I've heard some call is Ice Tea finish. It's a faded/muted sort of tobacco sunburst.

Epiphone doesn't make them in the finish. Although, I heard rumour of a 1961 reissue with Royal Tan finish. (I've not seen one in the shops yet.)

The Edge also used his Casino during the only three times that U2 played "Electrical Storm" live:

July 2, 2009 - Barcelona, Spain
July 8, 2009 - Milan, Italy
August 1, 2009 - Gothenburg, Sweden

Other "Electrical Storm" information?:

Bono played his Irish Falcon all three times.

Adam played an Antique Tobacco finish Warwick Streamer Stage 1 at the July 2, 2009 Barcelona show.

Adam used his Warwick Reverso (prototype) for both the July 8, 2009 show in Milan, Italy and August 1, 2009 show in Gothenburg, Sweden.
