POPMart Poker Chips: Real U2 Item?

Hey people,

I recently picked up these unique POPMart poker chips off eBay, the story goes that they were created as a promo item for the start of the tour in Vegas.

I have never seen them anywhere else but they are pretty cool, check them out:

hmmm, dunno. i haven't seen them on any of the collector sites (u2wanderer, u2disocgraphy, atu2) so they may not be official, but they're still pretty cool!

Yes these are very genuine and really rare and sort after. They were handed out at the after-show party in Las Vegas on the first night of the POPMart tour! Just out of interest how much did you pay for them? I've got a couple I was thinking of selling.
