Wow the clip was actually really misleading. This song is pretty damn awesome :)! The dangermouse influence is obvious. Love that we finally have punchy drums again.
 
First off, thanks for the sharing of the link, its amazing how quickly this place swings in to action! I'll send some links onwards from here just now.

Its pretty much as I expected it to be from the clip to be honest. The quality is such that you can't really hear the details or the subtleties of whats going on. It sounds fresh though, especially the drums and the "falsetto" vocals. Intro still reminds me of Electrical Storm.

Its unmistakably U2 and very poppy, but nothing exciting. I like it, but its not ground breaking or exciting (other than the fact its a new U2 song obviously) and while I hate using the term, I think "meh" sums it up.

Hopefully when I hear the full thing in good quality it'll get better.

I do like it though. To what extent will be determined when I hear it in high quality. The breakdown sounds like it could be cool but was kind of hard to make out.
