I travel down the hallway that leads to your room
With enough alcohol for a bride and a groom
If you have a bottle, there's no need for a glass
Such nice words exist, so why are mine so damn crass?

I write about our love with invisible ink
As you navigate a ship that's destined to sink
Maybe if I just give up and jump overboard
My heart will be impossible to be ignored

If only I could drown the drama in the blue
And salvage all the pretty pieces just for you
But my treasure would be tarnished by arrival
And be counterproductive to your survival

So don't hold my hand; I don't want you to get sick
You don't need to suffer from this poisonous trick
I'll just pass by your room with a tear in my eye
And go find some other place to lay down and die

:( This is the most beautiful poem I have read in a long long time......As I have stated before I really enjoy your poems and think that some of them would make great songs....
