I still need to burn you some boots!! I haven't forgotten...I'm just...I don't know.

:lmao: That's ok, no biggie!

I've actually just discovered Sharing the Groove and was able to download a couple of his boots from there. :hyper: You probably have these already, but I now have 48 Hours, Suicide Handbook, Pink Heart Demos and the 11-24-02 Edinburgh show. :D I downloaded a couple of Whiskeytown shows, too!

We can still do a trade though when you have time, if you want.

U2 (six times)
R.E.M.
The Who (twice)
Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band (three times)
Paul McCartney (three times)
Oasis (twice)
The Smashing Pumpkins
The Black Crowes
Garbage (twice)
PJ Harvey (four times)
Spacehog
ZZ Top
The Beach Boys (three times)
The Monkees
Peter, Paul and Mary

TONS of Tribute Bands

Liverpool (Beatles Tribute) - Too many times to count
1964 - The Beatles Tribute
Beatle Brothers
British Export
(and a TON more Beatles Tributes)

Elevation USA - Too many times to count
Elevation Canada - twice

Reckoning - R.E.M. tribute - lost count

Driven To Tears - Police Tribute

and I'm sure I'm missing a lot, lol

Chronologically - as best I remember:
White Lion/Cinderella
Poison
Alice in Chains/Ozzy Osborne
Public Enemy/U2 (Zoo TV)
4 Non-Blondes/Aerosmith
Jimmy Buffet
Rush
The Cult
Nelly Furtado/U2 (Elevation)
Creed
The Brian Setzer Orchestra/Tom Petty
The GooGoo Dolls/Bon Jovi
Puddle of Mud/3 Doors Down/Nickelback*
Sting/Annie Lennox*

Seems like there've been some others, but I'm either thinking of the few shows my husband's been to without me, OR the one's I really wanted to go to but didn't....

(And to be honest, I haven't actually seen the last 2 shows yet - POM/TDD/NB we'll see in July and the Sting/Lennox show is in September.)

 I didn't even think about tribute bands!!! Elevation USA . I can't wait to see them in October!

I've also seen a few Kiss tribute bands:

Firehouse
Strutter
there's another one but I can't remember what Kiss song was their name. It could have just been one of these two bands that I saw more than once :hmm:

There is no way I will be able to remember everyone I've seen. I had a friend when I lived in Atlanta that would get free tickets so we went to alot of shows. I'm very easy to convince to go see almost anyone since I love being around live music. The ones that come to mind...

U2
Sting
INXS
The Black Crowes
Matchbox 20
Maroon 5
Smash Mouth
The Pretenders
Jewel
Aerosmith
Duran Duran
Third Eye Blind
Matthew Sweet
Def Leppard
Bon Jovi
Skid Row
Elton John
Buddy Guy
Alanis Morrisette
No Doubt
Guns N Roses
John Mellencamp

I know there is more but I cant for the life of me remember and I am too tired to drag out ticket stubs.

heheh because of my young age and strict parents i have not gone to as many concerts as ive wanted (ex. u2, sting, morrissey, coachella) to but from what i do remember

ones i could have gone without:
mana
blink 182 (6 years ago cause)
pod (it was free)
project 86
dead poetic

good ones:
no doubt
coldplay
radiohead
travis

morrissey (lollapalooza)

I've only been to three major concerts in my life.

Backstreet Boys (x2) :reject: (Hey, I was 13 at the time!)
Clay Aiken/Kelly Clarkson :reject:

I saw the following artists at two benefit concerts for a local top 40 radio station about 2 years ago:
Mandy Moore :reject:
Smashmouth :reject:
Vitamin C :reject:
Jennifer Paige :reject:
Willa Ford :reject:
Blu Cantrell :reject:
Five for Fighting :reject:
Trickside :reject:

...I forgot the rest of the list but they are pretty much has-beens like a majority of this list.

I've only been able to afford concerts for three years now, so my list is a little short...

NKOTB (twice)
Ben Folds Five
U2 (twice)
Dave Matthews Band (four times...if only U2 toured constantly!!)
Pearl Jam

Opening Acts:
Dino ( :lmao: Edit: I think it was Dino...but now it doesn't sound right...it was for NKOTB and I was only 11.)
The Bangles
Fleming and John
PJ Harvey
Stereophonics
Sleater-Kinney

Does it count that Pearl Jam opened for themselves at the show I saw?

There should be more but my friends tend to not go to opening acts, and that tends to annoy me.

Pete Yorn and Matchbox 20.. I saw them separately, and I really loved Pete Yorn's show, in a small club. He was pretty dynamic and did great music live. I enjoyed Matchbox 20, too.. but honestly I don't enjoy any concert the way I enjoy a U2 show. They just don't rev me up the same way. So I liked Matchbox, but there weren't any fireworks the way there are w/ U2.

Yeah, I'm sure U2 are great, that's why I can't wait to see them live! I know their shows are unforgettable (like the fire).

Forgot to mention:
I saw Page/Plant in '94.
One of those deals I get a call the day of their show,
a guy has an extra ticket and "Do I want to go?"
Yep I wanna go! :)

Yes!!! :hyper:

I should amend that Bruce's show lit me up the way U2 does.. but he's the only other one.

Jason Donovan

LMAO that reminds me of Dublin when we had a Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue party at one of my friend's houses. We posted pictures all over the place.

The first concert I saw was a battle of the bands, between Iron Butterfly and the Turtles. I think I was just about the only person in the crowd who voted for the Turtles. I think I still would.
After that, in no particular order: (I am very ashamed of some of these
:reject: )

T-Rex
The Doobie Brothers
Genesis (with Peter Gabriel)
The Strawbs
King Crimson
Yes
Pink Floyd (fifth row for Dark Side of the Moon)
Golden Earring
The Rolling Stones
Elton John (front row)
David Bowie (front row)
Jethro Tull
James Taylor
America
Linda Ronstadt
The Police

Savoy Brown

Some of these I saw several times.

I know I'm forgetting a bejillion!

Also, my husband saw THE BEATLES, and has the ticket stub to prove it!!
:hyper: (He's sooo much older than I am:wink: )
