I didn't really know where to post that but I thought nobody would mind if I did it here...
Here's my list : U2+Placebo+Howie B, Sting, Texas, The Silencers, Noa and lots of French bands (I name them in case some Frenchy would read me  ) : KYO, M, les Innocents, Axel Bauer, Zazie, Etienne Daho...
I don't feel it's so much but my goal was (soul) to see U2, so ! And it also depends of your age, I mean when I'm 40, I hope I will have seen many other groups ! (I'm 24)

Well, I haven't seen much because I am 13. But I have seen The Goo Goo Dolls! :) They rocked! They played so many great songs! Then I saw Dave Matthews Band and they rocked too! :cute: Esp. during "Crash into Me" and they too had lots of awesome songs! And since I live in Texas I have been to the rodeo and seen Bon Jovi {great} and John Mayer {awesome.} Plus John Mayer rocked at guitar.

I hope you see U2! How was Jet and The Wallflowers?

thanks! Jet were very good (and wild too, hehe), but the show was short (about one hour). The Wallflowers performance was amazing, they used to be 'one of the bands I liked', and now I love them.

:hmm: I've seen so many during my years on this earth, I dunno if I could remember them all!

But I'll try... my list is pretty eclectic, in no particular order:

Madonna (3x's)
Dave Matthews Band

The Beach Boys

Gawd, I know I'm missing a bunch... my mind is just drawing a blank right now. :|

I also probably shouldn't be admitting to seeing some of these shows.... :reject: ... but I'm such a music whore, if anyone offers me the chance to see a concert, I'll usually go, no matter what.

U2 8x
Bruce Springsteen 2x

I haven't been to many concerts. And no U2 concerts. Not yet, anyway.
Ozzfest (dont ask me why)
Dido
Coldplay
Bare Naked Ladies
David Gray

I never had a lot of money to spend on concerts. Now that I can afford to, I don't have the time. :(

Main Acts:

New Kids on the Block (I was 9, sue me!)
U2 (twice)
The Rolling Stones (twice)
Ryan Adams (twice)
Janet Jackson
Jesse Malin
Damien Rice

Opening Acts:

Fun Lovin' Criminals
PJ Harvey
Blues Traveler
Wide Mouth Mason
Tegan and Sara
The Stills
The Deadstring Brothers
Fiction Plane
Pedestrian
Usher

...it seemeth me I have a short list in comparison... let's see...

Ringo w/Jack Bruce and Peter Frampton
Eric Clapton
Coldplay x2

that is all. I don't have much of a chance to see concerts, usually I have to drive to the nearest large city and cities steal all my money. I had to pass on No Doubt last year cause I was poor, and I skipped John Mayer and Dave Matthews this year cause... I didn't want to see them. Heh.
This summer my brother's taking me to see Clapton again and my boyfriend's taking me to see Van Halen, so my list will expand a little. I really, really want to see Prince, but I don't know if I can afford it... and I'm seeing U2 at my next opportunity come hell or high water!

I'm 28 and I have alot of catching up to do :( - I didn't go to my first concert until I was in college :reject:

there's not too many, so I can list them in order

-Elton John
-The Rolling Stones (opening act The Flys)
-Weird Al
-U2 :hyper: (opening act Garbage)
-Weird Al (again :reject: )

but I have Sting/Annie Lennox tickets for September :hyper:

oh, and back in college we had tickets to go see REM, but a tornado tore a hole in the civic center's roof a week before the show, so they cancelled and didn't reschedule - and we also saw Jon Stewart (but that's not a concert, it was a comedy show)

how were they? I was planning to do a road trip through my country to see them (just in case they didn't play in my city), but they didn't come to this country. :(

Pete Yorn and Matchbox 20.. I saw them separately, and I really loved Pete Yorn's show, in a small club. He was pretty dynamic and did great music live. I enjoyed Matchbox 20, too.. but honestly I don't enjoy any concert the way I enjoy a U2 show. They just don't rev me up the same way. So I liked Matchbox, but there weren't any fireworks the way there are w/ U2.

I haven't seen many concerts at all.

Weird Al
MatchBox 20
Garth Brooks (yes, I saw Garth and it was awesome)
Collin Raye (a country singer, I'm done with country now, though I do listen to Garth every once in awhile)

I might see Phil Collins in the fall and hopefully U2. I can't wait to see them!!!

Michelle

I have seen:

-Head East/John Waite/lead singer of Bad Company (can't think of his name right now)-this was a triple header.
-Beatles tribute band ('twas a lot of fun :D)
-Styx
-Weird Al

and there's another one I can't recall right now...I'll get back to you on that.

All these people came to my county fair or to a nearby town just north of there.
