I'm finding the "What would you change U2's name to" thread in EYKIW to be oddly fascinating. There's some untapped potential there. I like GG1's Echo And The Bunnymen answer, and I'm satisfied with my suggestion of Television On The Radio.

I've somewhat been avoiding the funny locations and trying to return to the original intention of visiting far-flung, unusual places where there are unlikely to be any U2 fans who'd actually want a chat thread. It's been fun looking up obscure places, and I've a good one in the Caucasus region set for the next time I make a thread.
