Forgot about Leo. although I was the one who wrote "where's Leo?" on Bono's Omaze YouTube video (about riding bicycle with Bono thing).

Someone asked Bono last night at the Grammys when SOE was coming out his response was, "SOE is done we're just waiting on Larry to hug Bernie Sanders so we can wrap up the artwork. But I guarantee you it will come out before Life of Pablo."

random rumors from atu2. Dude has 15000+ posts, if that's currency for truth

"A friend who seems to know things of this nature posted something of interest yesterday. If he's right, and he's not saying he is, just a strong rumour - U2 is still finishing SOE while Bono continues his rehab. No European shows this summer, but North America again in the autumn. U2 felt more excitement in the US than Europe. They didn't like the European reception except for Torino, UK, Dublin and Paris. The SOE songs will replace the SOI songs and the set up will be the same. The band didn't like the ticket pricing structure and is p.o.ed at Live Nation"

 Rehab?

And what, Amsterdam's response was lukewarm now? US responses more exciting than Europe? Yeah right. That's why all the US fans who went to EU shows were so amazed with the crowd! The ticket prices were quite the same as the 360 prices here, so why would they be pissed off about that? This entire thing reeks of fishy fishiness.

Agree 100%.

Rehab for his bike accident injuries, of course.

That's almost verbatim what my friend posted on Facebook. Not sure if they have the same source, or if he was just repeating what this guy said. or maybe Waffles took it from my friend. ha ha.

It's the circle of rumors!

I doubt they'll drop all the SOI songs. Some will have to go, though since I assume the story will change.

I think Miracle can still work as an opener, maybe for an encore instead? Who knows. I thought it worked better than Invisible live.

Cedarwood Road can probably be applicable as a bridge from innocence to experience as well, and hopefully it stays. Didn't Larry say it's one of his favorites to play?

Unless they change how they play Every Breaking Wave, it should probably be dropped, or at least put into rotational status.

(assuming this quote is true)

It's a bit lame / insecure to single out audiences as not embracing the show rather than looking at the show itself. Something something static setlists.

I don't think that quote is true... They've only complained about the people using their phones to watch the show instead of their eyes, in fact they particularly talked about that issue for the shows in Torino (according to the interview with Instagram)

Talking about Leo, I hope he is at least permitted to watch the Zootopia movie, it would be great if it featured a U2 song

This seems highly unlikely. U2 audiences in the US have, save for a few exceptions, always been the worst. European and South American audiences are much, much more receptive and energetic.

Rehabbing from his In and Out food coma?

Smells like bullshit to me. I went to two concerts in LA and while the shows were great, the audience energy paled in comparison to the response from nearly every European city. Have a few people who traveled abroad to see them who went to those LA shows and said the response was insanely good.

I really hope U2 are pissed at live nation for the ticket structure because apart from GA.. it was utter bullshit!

(You would think they would've changed their minds about that more early. )

Because IMHO seats for 150+more and all the redzone shit, don't contribute to having great audience feedback in the first place.
But that's just a feeling. Not a fact I guess.

My friend-slash-source-slash-who-knows said that was indeed the reason for them being pissed off.

Fisher told me that the band's good friend Montel Williams hooked them up with some payday loans after a financial crisis last month.

U2 haven't really made that many truly great videos over the years, the high amount of band performance based ones over the years is a personal pet peeve.

I seriously doubt U2 would become more 'relevant' if they suddenly decided to release more innovative music videos.
