I remember being 5 years old when I saw the Beautiful Day video on TV, I was basically amazed of the video, which I thought was very memorable, seeing a guy wearing black sunglasses and the band playing on the runway under planes flying over. Everytime I watch the video it takes me back to when it was released and what a wonderful time that must have been. For these reasons alone Beautiful Day is in my top 5 of most favourite U2 songs and why U2 will never be surpassed as the greatest rock band of all time for me, no other band will get close.
I love the Beautiful Day video. It's up there with Lemon for me.
