Speaking (a little belatedly) of destination U2 shows... I am currently roasting walking around Soldier Field. In fact, right around the loading docks where people waited for that dirty liar.

Good times. :)

See if you can find the secret GA line, tucked out of sight while they wait for the show!

April and I struggled mightily to find it so she could get her number.

 I'd forgotten about that.

Every other show I went to after that, I was expecting the exit to be that extreme claustrophobic cattle call. It wasn't - Soldier Field was the worst.

I've found the set list for mofo's McCartney show. This shit looks incredible. Wow:

Thanks for finding this, Gaffer! It really was. I was worried that it would be one of those shows where you're happy to be able to see you've seen the person, but they really didn't sound that great. I was completely wrong, he sounded phenomenal, actually played instruments himself for every song, and danced around and was far more lively than I ever would have imagined someone his age being. It was extremely entertaining, and sounded great as well. I've Just Seen A Face was a big highlight for me, as it was one of my favorites when I was younger, and I never would have guessed in advance that he'd play it.

I realized at this show that I really only know 2 Wings songs.

Jet is awesome.

As is Let Me Roll It.

And, I'm telling you, go listen to Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five. Best piano riff ever.

And NSW, I will take your word for it on Barcelona - I'm sure I would have been reduced to tears.

In case you were wondering, that's a different Dalton.

I wasn't familiar with any of the Wings tracks other than the 2 you'd expect, but the songs I didn't know were still sounded good and it was fun to watch the big fans going crazy.
