That's very cool that you were a linguistics major. I sometimes consider going back to school to get a linguistics degree for fun. Did you enjoy it? I'm curious what you liked most and liked least about studying in that field.

i'm still in school for it. i'm not sure exactly how far along i am since the student site seems to think i'm a completely different major.

having only studied it for two semesters, i can at least tell you i didn't like this class i took last semester, language change. it sounded interesting, studying the history of various languages and reconstructing the letters in the proto languages that came before them. but my teacher sucked. this semester i'm taking history of english language so hopefully that will be more interesting, especially since it won't be the same guy.

I just started listening to the Jezabels a few minutes ago and man, it's soo good. I'm only at the fourth song of the album and I already know I'm going to love it. What makes it even better is the fact that I'll be able to see them live in a few days time.
