But the download doesn't cover CD 2 does it?

awesome artwork and book

And vinyl, which is completely badass, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to spend 4/5 of my money on that though.

But the way they've chosen to sell this is really brilliant.
Finally making it worth buying a physical copy of an album again, but you can also just download it for free if you're only interesting in the music.

It's basically really brilliant of them, and, well, i'm in love with radiohead again.

It would be nice to see other bands doing stuff like that,

These are the things running thru my head...

1. I hope the album lives up to the wait.

2. I hope they eventually release it in CD format in record stores.

This album will live up to the hype

I wish more bands did this

U2 :madspit:

I'm hoping for a CD release in stores, too, Zoots.

20 bucks for a double album, I can do.

looks like they have no label

so I have no idea how they would release this to stores

I love the iconoclasm!
I am also with LMP and Zoots in hoping for a physical release with a more traditional price-tag, but for now this news is very welcome. October is shaping up to be an incredible month in music!
10/02: Springsteen's Magic
10/02: Elton John's 60th Birthday Extravaganza
10/10: Radiohead
10/23: Robert Plant's Raising Sand
