Figures you guys would have all the bedtime fun while I was still on the train :madwife: :giggle:

This just got posted to the U2 GTA mailing list, and I thought you guys might find it funny :wink:

One day Larry Mullen decides to leave U2. Although dismayed, the group
decides to replace Larry and continue plans for an upcoming tour. Bono
personally takes up the challenge to find a new drummer.

Rather than choose an unkown entity, Bono realizes that the great Phil
Collins is available, and immediately decides to recruit him. Bono
calls Phil the very next day.

Phil is honoured to be asked, but says he is seriously considering an
offer to tour with Sir Paul McCartney, and needs some time to decide.

A few days later, both Bono and Phil Collins are invited to a
fundraising BBQ hosted by Sir Paul. "What a great opportunity to meet
face-to-face with Phil, have a few drinks together, and sway him to
join U2", thinks Bono.

The BBQ is a grand event at Sir Paul's castle. Many celebrities attend.

Rather than cater, Sir Paul cooks much of the food himself. Having
little experience in front of a BBQ however, he undercooks some dishes
and chars others. Overall, the food is a disaster.

Elton John spots Bono in a corner grimacing, hesitantly taking a bite
of a burnt tofu dog. He quietly asks "so how do you feel about eating
this horrible food?"

Bono replies:



Wait for it...




"I will suffer the Beatle's grill. I'm gunning to land Phil."

I had a great dinner with my parents at my favourite restaurant. :drool: Great leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

Ok, hi again. :wave: I know there's no one here, but I just thought I'd ask... I've been trying to get a hold of hawkmoon (the fic, not the song, the song I've got) but I can't find it. I mean, I can find the latest chapter, but not the rest of it. Anyone who can help me here? :hug:

Ok, ok, I'll leave now, and get back to live my life... :p :grumpy: :lol:
