lovely tune, no? adam's bass rules on this one, i love the keyboard riff, and i think the lyric is pretty beautiful (including the verses cut out on the album version). i also love bono's yearning "yeah-eh-ohhs" before the instrumental break, and edge's solo.

it was one of the first few u2 songs i heard so it's pretty specal to me. i also happen to actually like the video. i've just got a thing for snow, because in my place we don't get snow.

Yeah, the bass line is awesome on this song. Actually, the War album may have the most memorable/best bass lines on it of any U2 album.

Definitly a favorite of mine also.

New Year's Day is a great song, I like the piano parts, too.

probably one of the best songs theyve ever done. everyone in the band shines through on this song.
