I clicked on the subscribe button at the top of the page. I set up a paypal account and paid for it that way, via my card. You just need to make sure you enter your forum username so that the right user account is made premium. It only took a couple of hours to come through.

No-one would join the site if they had to pay I suspect However, it is a big site and someone (i.e. Elvis) maintains it somewhere and it must cost a fair bit to buy servers and other such things (I know little about computer type stuff ). Alot of forums have premium member facilities for free though too!

I have NO choice since I wanted to continue seeing all those GREAT videos they have there !! It's really sad that sites can't operate for free ... especially ones that 'used to' be that way before ...

^ That probably goes without saying as the Internet is bigger than television nowadays. Satellite or cable can't even compete inless they offer Internet service besides television hookups.
And Yes, U2.com is more expensive (because of those videos now) I think the Blue Crack is far more worth the money except it would be nice if they had videos on here too !!
