okay now i have a question for everyone going. wherever you will be staying, do you think it's possible i could go with you guys just so i can be picked up there? ill be getting dropped off at some point and picked up after the concert and it'd be easier to hang out with some u2 fans after the show and be picked up :/

no prob, yeah I saw that site for Discovery. Bahamas or a day trip to Key West. I will have to look at the options. I haven't been to either place since the early 90's.

Since I'm in a National Park state of mind right now, there's also the Biscayne National Park we can visit, just south of Miami. We can go snorkeling or go on a glass-bottomed boat (I don't know how much that costs though).

sounds like a great idea and something to consider however, I am not comforted by this bit of news on their site "Oil Spill Response Biscayne National Park is preparing for potential impacts from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill."

I know, I saw that too, but at least right now they're saying it hasn't reached the Keys yet, and they're monitoring the situation. They'll probably close the park or suspend snorkeling if they see some negative impacts from the spill.

I don't want to be inhaling petroleum fumes!
