Excuse me.
Am I buggin' ya?
Those people have been living in, as Bono says, poverty forever. Is it unfair trade that they want to, and do, buy Coke, Levi's, and other American products that even the American poor can't/don't buy. Ever heard of RC Cola? Unfair trade?
Unfair trade = CAPITALISM
The last I heard, communism, socialism, and facism, weren't working to well.
In life, and economics, there is always a food chain, some are at the top, some in the middle, and some at the bottom. Fortunate or unfortunate... this is the way it works, despite human efforts to change it. Show me an example to prove this otherwise.
I'd like to see Bono's manifesto before anyone else blindly follows him.

Bono added, "Oxfam has got it right. It wouldn't cost much to change the rules of trade so that poor countries can work their way out of poverty. But the world's leaders won't act unless they hear enough people telling them. And every day they fail to act, thousands of people die because they can't afford the basics of survival."
