I see what you mean with the red backdrop and the white lights (which still come at the "oooh oooh oooh" part) and the segue though. Pride-Streets did not work as well as Running/Please/Bad/All I want is you - Streets.
(that said, I liked the "MLK's America - Nelson Mandela's Africa" connection)

Yeah, I guess it's about the intro, the presentation of the song, musically it sounded pretty damn good.

I was also responding to the idea of reworking it "acoustic and slow" which was the original poster's idea which I don't like one bit.

I don't know if I'd call the POPmart version techno-fied, it just had some loops in it, I don't think that detracted from the song, although if I had my preference, I'd choose the straight forward JT/R&H, ZooTv, Elevation versions.
