I might get almost 40 with 3 shows after this trip,

and my birthday is exactly 2 weeks after the concert too, April 22, my birthday present to me.

A Newfoundland woman "of a certain age", visited her physician to ask his help in reviving her husband's sex drive.

"What about trying Viagra?", asks the doctor.

"Oh, no, doctor, I couldn't do dat," she said. "He won't even take an aspirin.

"Not a problem," replied the doctor. "Drop it into his coffee. He won't even taste it. Give it a try and call me in a week to let me know how things went."

It wasn't a week later, that she called the doctor, who directly inquired as to the progress.

The poor dear exclaimed, "Oh Jaysus Mary and Joseph, doctor, twas horrid. Just terrible!"

"Really? What happened?" asked the doctor.

"Well, I did like you said and slipped it into his coffee, lard. De effect was almost immediate. He jumped hisself straight up, with a twinkle in his eye, and with his pants a-bulging something fierce! With one swoop of his arm he sent the cups and tablecloth flying, ripped me clothes to tatters and then, Lard tunder and Jaysus, didn't he take me right then and there, making wild, mad passionate love to me on the tabletop! It was a nightmare, I tell you!"

"Why so terrible?", asked the doctor. "Do you mean the sex was not good?"

"No, no, no, Doctor. The sex was fine. Indeed, 'twas the best sex I had in 25 years. But, oh me son, I'll never be able to show me face in Tim Horton's ever again!"

We must have one party night as a happy birthday to all those with April birthdays while in Hawaii! Let's see....that's LOTS of fruity drinks with little umbrellas!

My sister's b'day is Apr 23.

And thanks for the jokes, trev!

I just found this article:

U2 Tickets Sell Out Within Hour

POSTED: 1:51 pm HST January 15, 2006

HONOLULU -- Tickets for U2's concert at Aloha Stadium went on sale Saturday and sold out within an hour.

Aloha Stadium spokesman Patrick Leonard said it was the fastest-selling concert in stadium history.

The Michael Jackson concert in 1997 sold out in four hours.

U2 will perform in Honolulu on April 8 as part of its Vertigo Tour. It's the band's first Hawaii performance in two decades.

Some fans slept at Aloha Stadium to get the best seats. Tickets ranged from $50 to $165.

There might be good news for those who didn't get a ticket. The concert's promoter, Clearwater Entertainment, said it will announce either Monday or Tuesday the possibility of a second concert date.

That article is full o crap. Someone posted it earlier (or a version thereof) and we pointed and laughed at the AP :D
