OHMYGAWD, this reminds me of when Disco was here with me and we took the train past the Staples Center in LA... if was funny because the whole time we were snoring in the parking lot, trying to get comfortable on these lounge chairs, I could hear in the background, "ding, ding, ding" of the train's bell as the train went by. It dawned on me later that it was the same train that runs by my apartment - via connections and stuff. So, there Disco and I were, on a train full of weird people, our faces pressed up against the glass (a-la Zoo Station) looking at the Staples and wishing we were still in line waiting for the night of our lives.
Ah, memories.
I can't wait for U2 to come back. On the U2 list I belong to, several people including mbi16 have mentioned going to line up at the Staples Center just because. I'm actually tempted.
Nothing beats waiting around in line with people who are just as fun, silly, and crazy as you are, just to experience even more fun, silly and crazy stuff inside.

If you ask me, I think it's all about drums.
