Nº1: what do you think of the DVD setlist... can it be?

Nº2: what do you think of this last set list?... I'm drooling all over it  (and I know you're too :sexywink: )

I think they'd be nuts to not just show tonight's show for the DVD -- with the one exception of "40", which should rightfully take the place of Vertigo II.

Who knows what they'll do, though?

if I'm lucky, I'll see myself in two different places during one song.

And I have a feeling about Thursday night...perhaps a repeat of Zoolevation, but this time, with Zoo Station actually opening...

Its certainly realistic except I think the fly will be there instead of wowy (Miracle drug is its new replacement, with the same chord esquence). Crumbs would probably fit where youve put SHFWILF. Personally I would like to see Man and a woman and OOTS played in Europe. The stadiums could do with UTEOTW so that could fit in the 19-20 Zoo Baby part of the show!!

01-Zoo Station
02-The Fly
03-Even better Than The Real Thing
04-Until The End Of The World
05-Vertigo
06-Elevation
07-Electric Co
08-Gloria
09-Into The Heart
10-City Of Blinding Lights
11-Miracle Drug
12-Stuck In A Moment
13-Sometimes You Can't Make It
14-Sunday Bloody Sunday
15-Bullet The Blue Sky
16-Running To Stand Still
17-Where The Streets Have No Name
18-Pride (In The Name Of Love)
19-One

ENCORE:

20-Love And Peace
21-All Because Of You
22-Yahweh
23-40

Hmm...I like very much, just a couple changes I would make.

I Will Follow/Out Of Control instead of Elevation.

Drop Into The Heart (it's been played all three dates in Chicago), and add Kite after Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own.

Open the encore with COBL, and put Love And Peace back in front of Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Drop Miracle Drug, and add Walk On before "40".

Play Original Of The Species instead of Yahweh.

THEN I shall give it my  of approval.

i still think there will be a double DVD set of the vertigo tour.

DVD 1 - Indoor Broadcast - Chicago
DVD 2 - Outdoor Broadcast - Dublin

The reason why i say Dublin is because they have 3 nights here so they can mix and match just like they have done in Chicago.

They've already done Dublin with the Elevation Tour, it'd be a bit boring bring out another live show from there back to back. What about London? or even Amsterdam (don't know where that is in the tour right enough). I'm doubting Dublin again.

I think you've made a great prediction.

I think Chicago 4 could bring us a lot of this. Perhaps one of the first encores won't be there.

You have to believe Gloria is a guarantee. While, WOWY and ISHFWILF seem possible as they have each appearred once.

The writing is on the wall for U2 and Bruce to play "I Still Haven't Found" together at Chicago 4. They played it at the RRHOF a couple months ago.

I do think U2 will be looser tomorrow night since the DVD shoot is mostly over and the Chicago audiences were excellent (as usual).

But I doubt we'll get any true unplayed gems.

If they double-play Vertigo again tomorrow, I'll have a coronary. The version was awesome last night, but there's just too many good songs they could play instead.

Of course, the best treat would be addition by subtraction: no more Bullet!

Yuck. I'd be very very disappointed if they played that. Three 90's songs, whereas only one of them is a rock tune (they wrote their best rock tunes in the 90's)!
Luckily the chance of that happening is less that zero, as we've secured The Fly for every night of the first leg anyway. The visual aspects, the curtain of lights, all that, they won't drop it. Not for anything. Hopefully.
Other great issues I have.
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Bleh. Boring live, if they want energy and lift-off that's surely not it. Don't like it really.
With Or Without You. Most members would agree with me. It's getting old, unlike Bullet (which's been reinvented somehow) it sounds worn-out and without spirit. And we have lots of other Joshua Tree songs to fill its shoes.
Don't like Love And Peace Or Else as the opener.
No City Of Blinding Lights? Dream on.
Rather see Original Of The Species than Yahweh.
Walk On would be nice though, but would rather see Crumbs From Your Table.
No Electric Co.
I know you have Gloria instead, but The Electric Co. is better. Another thing which is completely against my preference.

Give us Until The End Of The World and 11 O'Clock Tick Tock.

Until the End of the World was a highlight from the Elevation tour. Still have never seen 11 o'Clock live. Had GA for Chicago 2 and 3 shows and was not disappointed, though I do think Pride is getting a little stale.

Would have prefered Franz Ferdinand to KOL.

Basically I'm operating under the assumpion that...

They switch the 2 Boy tracks for 2 extra Zoo tracks (EBTTRT & Until..) somthing they should've been doing all tour.

And they look at getting the Bullet->Running->Streets->Pride run together.

This IMO would be amazing if it happened. All the signs say it could happen. They did it in chicago last time. Why else would they rehearse EBTTRT? They have Zoo Station for the last tour ever one would guess. They don't have to drop too much to fit it all in (I merely dropped Elevation & the boy set) & it fits perfectly.

Real Thing and Wild Horses instead of Zoostation and The Fly would be OK...
But there's 2 songs too many from JT (WOWY and ISHFWIF)it's not JT tour! and also I noticed 4 songs from ATYCLB... and that's at least 2 (my wish would be 3) songs too many...

5. The Ocean
6. Beautiful Day
7. Miracle Drug
8. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own

10. Sunday Bloody Sunday
11. Bullet the Blue Sky - When Johnny Comes Marching Home
12. Running to Stand Still
13. City of Blinding Lights

CHEATER!!!!!!!!!:madspit:

Where were their rumors the band were working on Wild Horses and Even Better Than The Real Thing?? I believe that is complete BS. They havent even worked on Crumbs since early rehearsals either, that one isnt coming anytime soon.

Chicago 4 had a good setlist, good to see they still mixed it up. They could have cruised with the LOPOE setlist similiar to night one. Boston should be interesting at the end of the first leg.
