Bono at end of COBL

During the SJ2 show, Bono was on his knees at the end of COBL repeating something over and over (imagine he's doing this at most shows). I couldn't quite make it out then but have since listened to an mp3 of it and it sounds like he's repeating 'protect me from what I want,' alternating with something unintelligble. Anyone know what he's saying?

Anyone know what he's saying?

During the video shoot and the concert I think he was only saying "luckily" multiple times in kinda of a wierd almost kneeling stance. Its the same as the original song except he repeats it. I've seen COBL live 8 times now and he pretty much did it the same every time.
