I noticed a first - at least for me.
U2 are in Yahoo's Top 10 searches.
Here is a pic as proof:
I first noticed this on Friday, Sept. 25th. As of this moment, on Saturday, Sept. 26th, it remains (this, by the way, is Yahoo in the U.S.).
I have never seen U2 in the Top 10 of Yahoo's searches before - even when a new album was released. I'm not saying they haven't been there before, but I've never noticed it (and I go to Yahoo daily). The fact that they survived two days is also impressive.
My guess is that searches on U2 are up because of them touring in three big markets in the U.S. (Chicago, Boston and New York). Corresponding to this have been a slight increase in album sales.
Now, if U2 play tonight on SNL, I imagine we'll have a third day of them in the top 10.
