MrBrau1
ONE love, blood, life
You love a record.
You've loved it for a long time.
It means something to you. You listen to it over and over. It's great. It's yours. It's your "gem" of an album.
Why don't more people know about this album?
Are they fucking dumb? They have poor taste?
Maybe they never heard it. Maybe they never heard it through your ears.
It's time to preach.
Well, the 1st ever "Album Roundtable" will give you your pulpit.
It's easy.
Pick your album. Shouldn't be hard, as you probably listened to it last week.
Listen to it again this week.
Then write about it.
Why do you love it?
Why should I love it?
Then, over the next week, do the following things:
1. write about your album in this thread. Leave your email at the end of your rant.
2. upload it to send space or the like (MP3 format please.) Try and pick a service that will let your link live for 2+ weeks.
3. email that link to me by next Friday:
brau1@yahoo.com
subject: album roundtable
On Saturday I'll collect all the reviews and links, and forward them to everyone who participated.
Hopefully, you'll get 20+ album reviews and links to those albums.
The more who participate, the more albums you'll get to hear. There's no theme. Pick an new record, an old record, and R&B
record, a jazz record, a classic rock record, and indie pop record. whatever.
Ain't the internet grand?
