Would appear the Grammy’s thingy is going to be pre-recorded as Postcards from Earth is playing on 2/4. Wonder if they’ll film something specifically for the show during next week’s shows or just throw up some stock stuff (god knows they have enough of it at this point).

I got a couple tickets for one of the final shows through the fan club presale (supposedly anyway…my card was charged for them). Still waiting on an email to confirm this and let me know what show I have tix for. Anyone else playing this waiting game?

I lucked out an got a pair (was ~1000 in line in the que). The fucked up thing is that there were already people posting resales when i was picking seats on the map. Scalpers blow. I hope all the bastards eventually find themselves getting screwed out of seeing their favorite band down the road...

Yeah, we will both go to the show. We were trying to get tickets for a couple dates as our work schedules aren’t yet sorted out for early next year and we wanted a little flexibility. Worst case, if we can’t use them we’ll post them here.

Anyone one else have issues with the latest (October) fan club presale? My spouse and I each have an account - long term members - one of us got tickets and the other didn’t. While I know that a U2.com membership doesn’t guarantee tickets, was there really so much interest that each account...

Just dumb. Their 2 days of camping out will put them about 4-6’ closer to the band than anyone that walks into the venue when the doors open. I can’t imagine having this much free time on my hands to piss away….

I’m holding out for 24ish songs (maybe even 1-2 more). With the world having shut down for 3 years, these guys (and the rest of us) are really due for a fun show. That, and the fact that this ‘residency’ is so short, there is less likelihood of tour burnout. #fingerscrossed

Ummm…… Or, possibly, one of the top touring bands on the plant (who are fucking filthy rich and never need to earn another dollar again) like to push the edge of sound and technology (and in the process treat their fans to something awesome that’s never been attempted before).
