Garland was such a disaster of a choice. He’s an institutionalist and was so afraid of appearing bias at all that he gave the GOP the opening it needed to continue their coup.
Did the DOJ really need to start with the morons who stormed the capital ? Seems like at least a year was lost by not targeting mid to senior level traitors

Not sure where Harry is getting his dates from. The trial can literally start the minute the Supreme Court rules.
There was 88 days of prep time left when the pause happened. The judge has said that the defense will have those 88 days back if/when the case is unpaused
So if Republicans actually believe this immunity shit, why is it that they're trying to pin some bullshit on Biden?
There’s next to zero chance they rule in favor of Trump.
But they can wait as long as June to release their judgment.
And the FL case has important dates coming up next week where I’m sure we’ll see Cannon delay the trial as well.

I feel like this has all turned into a game. Trump team is requesting an August trial date for the MAL documents case. Jack is asking for July 8th.

I actually read the opposite so I’ll have look into that more.
people didn't think they'd take the case up at all - yet here we are.
i am no longer of the thought that the court will save us. they're a bunch of political hacks just like the rest of them. they'll either find some way to let him off the hook, or they'll slow play it long enough to where he'll be able to make it go away if he actually wins in november. i have zero doubt about that now.
the court has been stacked against the american public. they will not stop here.
the only chance we have of saving state's abortion rights, IVF, contraception, marriage equality, and any number of other rights that we have as americans is to not only defeat trump, but to take the senate and the house by a large enough margin where we can go and impeach Clarence Thomas, and possibly vote to expand the Supreme Court (although i still believe that sets a dangerous precedent, as nothing would then stop the republicans from doing the same thing if they were to regain power). short of that - we're fucked. the damage is done, and unless we can change the balance of the court, it's going to be a dark decade for civil rights - trump or no trump.

despite his many, many flaws, he never fully bent the knee to Trump and was the last thing preventing the GOP from becoming a wing of Russian foreign policy.
i actually think we will. didn't the trump team offer up a date in August? would be hard for Cannon to justify a date AFTER the defense's suggested date. Smith would appeal the decision immediately, and he'd win.
it will - but as dark as it seems sometimes, just remember... every major election since 2016 has, generally speaking, gone against trumpism. every single one.
it's March - people are honestly exhausted at the thought of another Trump v. Biden matchup. but when the time comes - the people will vote.
and they have to. it's the only thing left.

Saving Grace domestically is a strong economy. Tho people don’t believe it exists cause media keeps telling us there’s always something wrong.

The economy problem is grocery store prices, people find it difficult to believe that the economy is in good shape because of things like that.
I'm sure that sounds ridiculous to some people, but it's the truth. For upper middle class or wealthy people that's not an issue. But for everyone else it most definitely is.
And Biden just got around recently to calling grocery stores out and saying they're price gouging, because the election gets closer and closer. Just not a smart move to wait so long. I believe they're price gouging and that obviously didn't start recently
The economy isn't just employment and the stock market for many many people.

I think most people know that the only job of the President isn't to make sure gas and food are cheap.

Well, I suggest if possible do GOTV in the days close to, and on Election Day.
I did phone GOTV talking to people in several States in 2020. I forget how I got there so to speak - I think something showed up on my FB feed asking for volunteers. So I joined up.
This time it'll be easier since I've had the practice. I've done GOTV in the past before '20.
This time I will do a hell of a lot more.
