So do we think they'll break out all of the bells and whistles of this place right from the opening song or will they do the JT30 thing and wait a few tick for the big reveal?

Surely this venue on this occasion is asking for a new Zoo TV style intro followed by the Fly?

Or maybe that's too obvious? Finishing with Can't Help Falling In Love also seems like something that's way too obvious, but also absolutely perfect given we're in Vegas.

Starting the shows off with a Zoo TV-set of even 3 or 4 AB songs might be a great way to do it.

There's loads of ways to play this if they don't just go for an AB + The Hits - having a set of other songs from x number of years either side of AB, or those that would just lend themselves to amazing visuals/Vegas.

In one of the renderings in the tour announcement, there was a drawing of what looks to be some kind of small lighting rig above the band.



That rig could probably disappear and the Sphere may come alive with Zoo Station. That would be incredible.

I like the bones here b/c Bono gets his precious narrative intro, R&H notes of America, the desert and Vegas before dreaming it all up again/chopping down the Joshua Tree and going into Zoo Station with the power of the fully operational death st.. sphere.

Notes: AB could prob be broken up for flow, but I’m too lazy to think about that so far. Encore prob different and need to figure out the rising stage song(s) if that’s still going to be a thing. Someone mentioned “Can’t Help Falling In Love” to close and that’s perfect. Bono can tenderly hit some high notes still, though remains to be seen if that’s doable after 22+ songs at age 63. Still a great singalong at the end for everyone.

Heartland might work there as well, but I have serious doubts about Heartland ever being played, as much as i'd love it.

They were outside, so they had to wait for it to get dark, so that's the only reason I think they didn't just start with Streets... So i would expect them to start with some AB stuff like Zoo Station....

I think they hit us right in the face with the whole experience from the jump similar to ZooTV.

That's kind of what I was thinking, if they go for something era-based, the place the band was in at the time that lead them to AB.

I mean sure they might not play the full album, but they aren't skipping that much of it.
The Fly is a no brainer unless Peef makes the trip.

I personally would be disappointed if they didn’t. They don’t have to do it in order, but if they played all of The Joshua Tree songs, they can do the same for Achtung Baby. At least that’s my logic.

The worst part is that we still have 4 months to go before we start finding out what the hell they’re going to play. Dying to know.

No, they've said they're going to play the whole thing, just not in sequence which is fine by me.

I think I always say this, but I'm 100% going to try and go to the show with 0 spoilers beforehand which should be pretty easy given this isn't a normal tour which always starts elsewhere for months before we get a chance to see it over here.

I'm sure rumors will fly, but I doubt people will be able to be able to get as much info as they have in the past. Rehearsals will obviously be contained to The Sphere itself, and I doubt anyone will be able to get close enough to hear them.
