Are you mad??? Vegas tickets for popular show will sell out instantly. The hotels will buy them or get them just to give to VIP.

This will be super bowl hard.

Unless they actually give us presale like they have before.

We are all fucked.

Tickets price in at 1000 each.

Vegas tickets for popular shows are usually in 5,000 seat venues - not 20,000 seat.

i'm not saying it's not going to be hard - i just have a hard time believing that it's going to be Taylor Swift levels of hard, which most people seem to be predicting.

U2 are not the draw they were 20 years ago. they're still huge - but not T-Swizzle huge.

i predict a reasonable level of difficulty - where a lot of us will get tickets during pre-sale, some won't - but if you try hard enough you'll be able to find something.

i could, of course, be way way way off here.

We have been told there will be U2.com presales. 2 in fact. First one for those who had active subs prior to Feb12 when shows were semi-announced and 2nd for those who sign up after.
It's basically all of our best hopes for securing tix, because I agree that the casinos will be trying to get as many as they can to give to their high rollers, and the weekend only factor brings a lot of southern Californians and Arizonans into the mix.

I very rarely buy concert T-shirts anymore. They have to really be good with what they cost. Think the last U2 shirt I bought was at Popmart.
Bought Pearl Jam set list shirts from Fenway cause thought those were cool.

U2 tickets may be super easy to get. I'm just being pre angry about not getting tickets.

By the way, what the hell did happen with Swift tickets. Every time I check, the ticket section is 100% dark and you can't buy/sell/ or see anything about tickets.

Did anyone actually get them?

Also, am i the only one who refuses to watch the video to the U2 clips?

One week away from just getting the fucking album...

i don't know, but i know i was looking on stubhub for them as a christmas gift for the wife.

she got a scarf instead.

the cheapest pair of tickets i can find for Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium are a pair in section 345 - row 16. "side stage" in name only - as they're more or less behind the stage.

$809 dollars. per ticket.

300s in Metlife are only tolerable for (Giants) football or under $100 *after* fees for a concert that you absolutely must be “in the building” for.

From what I can tell, Taylor's crack management team allowed ALL tickets to be available during the presale period. And presale was open to anyone who went and joined the fanclub, and anyone that had a Citibank credit card, and I believe there were 4 other categories. So pretty much the entire population.

So there was only a presale and no general sale at all.

If you were one of the lucky ones who got picked for the Taylor sale and then got shut out, seems that those folks have been getting contacted at random with a pair of tickets.

A friend of my daughter just got an email with the offer last week for Gillette, and they were actually decent tickets - second level. For a couple hundred each or so.

She asked my daughter to go with her, so needless to say she's over the moon.
