Does anyone think "There Is A Light" could also be a reference to lyrics in Song for Someone?

Liking the musical description of Landlady . This seriously is the best time of the release cycle. Soaking it in.

If the E&I tour starts in late May,early June, then they could wait in January for announcing it....just like for the JT tour.

Heard from people who talked to crew in Sao Paulo that the tour is starting in March...I heard May from a crew member in San Diego. Q says May, I'm more inclined to believe it's May

I really didn’t mean it like that. I was genuinely asking because I didn’t know if he was joking or not, I thought that was pretty common knowledge amongst diehards.

My apologies Cosmo if it came off being a fanny.

No worries. I really didn't know. Fortunately, I still have my "vintage" 1997 POP CD and I just pulled out the insert to look at the production credits and sure enough Discotheque has a sample of "Fane" and then DYFL has an "inspiration" listed as "Naked Funk"(as previously mentioned.

I will keep her I my thoughts and wish the very best for her on her recovery and fight of her cancer.

Same here Yahweh!

Hmmmm... didn't know about the Discotheque one. Would be curious to hear a link somewhere now.

Most excited for Summer Of Love. Ever since I learned of the title I felt something toward it. The descriptions have me very excited.

So we have conflicting reports of what the album's final song is. Bono himself previously said The Little Things ended the album, this article says it's There Is A Light.

Hmm.

Not knowing the extent to which Pop used this approach is one thing, but I think the main issue here is whether or not fans should be "disappointed" that U2 sampled another band, or used it as the seed for a new track. That seems pretty immature and close-minded to me. It's actually exciting for me to read that they're not just existing in this cocoon.

Tweeking the song order and titles, probably unnecessarily, sounds like something they would do right up until packaging. Fits the profile. Since the article is now going to press to officially support the album, I trust it’s accuracy more than passing commentary from Bono.

Stoked about the Haim thing. If it's the part I think it is, holy crap that's gonna be amazing!

I don't know, if I had a feeling there was a banana up my ass it would probably be factual too.

I think in this case, traditionally, the knowledge of the facts should precede the feelings. Especially if you're the one with the banana.
Of course, sometimes you can't make it on your own.

I have a feeling 'Summer of Love' will be my favourite U2 song of the past 17 years, and the most evocative and atmospheric song on the album, judging by the radio interview of the two guys from (Pittsburgh, was it?) who attended a pre-concert listening party a couple months ago. This is the song I'm looking forward to most.

Two titles are missing from your list:

13) Much More Better (could be a previous title)
14) Book of Your Heart
