Wherever The Joshua Tree is in the set, how would you prefer it to be played?

He will be if the others water....
.....board

The truth is he was hiding in the IE divider exploring it's other uses before Vancouver. He was only coaxed out for this tour with the promise of cheese and crackers.

A rigger tried to walk inside the new stage. He was killed. He was burried at the 55 yard line at BC Place in the cement.

Sometimes less is more.

(And sometimes nothing is most).

Yeah makes sense. Probably just had to drag forward plans a bit. And wasn't the implication that this is it for The Joshua Tree and any gigs elsewhere will be SOE related? That giant screen will probably stick around with a new B-stage, job done.

Yeah maybe. I do remember them saying that this is it for JT, but I just can't see them touring back to back with what... a 2 month break which will have to be at least partly used to rehearse a new show. Won't someone think of their vacations?

I still say if SA happens it'll be JT.
(But I'll happily eat my words and jump for joy if it is actually I&E)

It will be TJT if it's in South America. There is considerable risk associated with going there.

If SA is TJT then SOE = 2018.

Sigh. Thought they were going to keep TJT to just US and Europe.

If there is only a maximum of say 5 concerts in SA could we still see the new album in time for xmas?

Most major tours that go through South America nowadays look like this

Brazil- São Paulo, Rio de Janiero, maybe another city like Belo Horizonte or Porto alegre
Argentina- usually 2 shows at least in BA
Montevideo, Uruguay
Santiago, Chile
Lima, Peru
Bogota, Columbia
Maybe somewhere like Costa Rica
3 shows in Mexico

U2 could probably do all this and more if they wanted to. I'm assuming this JT stage is not nearly as involved or expensive as the 360 or Popmart stages were.

What are the chances of them now just completely scrapping SOE?

I love the sky is falling attitude that this forum has. The pendulum of emotions swings so far and hard one day to the next.

Last week "OMG SOE IS COMING LOOK THEY PLAYED A SONG AND HAD ALBUM ART"

This week "NO SOE EVER THEY'RE PLAYING IN SOUTH AMERICA"

(Not just you, Kuef, but in general).
